Forensic Nurses from Around the Globe Gather in Toronto for International Conference
The 25th Annual International Conference on Forensic Nursing Science and Practice brings together 800 forensic nurses to discuss key issues related to the health and recovery of patients who have experienced violence and trauma.
In 1992, 72 registered nurses came together to form the International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN). This founding group envisioned an organization that would encompass the depth and breadth of those who practice nursing where the healthcare and the legal systems intersect. IAFN hosts the 25th annual International Conference on Forensic Nursing Science and Practice, in Toronto, Canada, October 11-14, 2017 in order to put state-of-the-art science into action and create best practices for forensic nursing around the world and across the lifespan.
